Nearly thirty years after its debut, the bag returns with a new reading by Fendi Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Presented during Milano Design Week 2026, the project brings together 20 re-editions from the Fall/Winter 2026–27 collection. More than a simple archive revival, it looks at the Baguette as a small object with a strong sense of character.
First introduced in 1997, the bag was designed to be carried under the arm, like the French bread that gave it its name. At the time, its shape and attitude stood apart from the clean minimalism of the late 1990s. Since then, it has become one of fashion’s most recognisable pieces.
The re-editions bring back cult versions of the Baguette through vivid colours, detailed craftsmanship and a softer silhouette inspired by the original form. The global launch is set for July 2026.
